Looking Back At Your Preliminary Task, What Do You Feel You Have Learnt In The Progression From It To The Product?

Evaluation Question 6

What Have You Learned About Technologies From The Process Of Constructing This Product?

Hardware- I have used a Digital Camera, Tripod and Microphone

Microphone

When using the microphone, I've learnt how to hold it accurately without it coming into the shot and at a good range so that all noise is picked up and transmitted well.

Digital Camera

When using the digital camera, I've learnt how to hold it steady without using the tripod and how to zoom in and out accurately without making a scene look too fake, or dodgy.

Tripod

When using the tripod I have learnt how to track movement using the tripod, being able to keep it well and steady and have learnt that it makes shows more steady without having to hold a digital camera with shaky hands, which could mess up shots.

Software- I have used Adobe Premier Pro, Cyber Link Youcam 6 and Windows Live Movie Maker .

Evaluation Question 4

Who Would Be The Audience For Your Media Product?

Apologies for poor quality, however this is my answer to the Evaluation Question 4.

Examples of parts that appeal to the audience needs include:

POV Shot creates a tense atmosphere, audience are wondering who he is watching?

Audience recognise that he is watching Christina, and start to fear for Christina as Eduardo is dangerous, has killed before and can kill again.

Audience have now realised that Christina is in trouble and Eduardo is planning to attempt something dangerous. This builds fear tension and suspense and also builds adrenaline for the audience.
.

This specific part of the thriller, builds the climax of tension as the audience are wondering what may happen to Christina and builds adrenaline.

Here is our audience feedback, from this we can see that the male population was most interested and very much enjoyed our film. Viren and Sam both mention how they like the way the tension and suspense was built up. Sam states "I like how there is not much dialogue, which builds tension" additionally, Viren states that the transition in scenes constantly built up the adrenaline and suspense.
